The List

OK, so I figured since I have this resolution to read this year, I figure I should share the list of books on my agenda. I'd love to be able to cross as many of these off my list before camp as possible, but if I take a class or two, we'll have to see. So, here it is, in no particular order...

Blue Like Jazz - Donald Miller...yeah, I've already read that one, but since I started the resolution before the New Year and it was the one that started this whole thing, I'm including it. It's my list, I can do that.

The Screwtape Letters - C.S. Lewis...reading it now...a little more wordy and I gotta stay focused a little more, but it's an interesting perspective.

Velvet Elvis - Rob Bell...I have almost violent orders from someone to read this immediately when it comes into my possession...I don't have it yet.

Searching for God Knows What - Donald Miller...Don's second book...Bizzle highly recommends it...looking forward to it.

Through Painted Deserts - Donald Miller...the only other one he's got out right now...sorta got hooked on him.

Mere Christianity - C.S. Lewis...probably setting myself up for another wordy one, but I think it's a valuable one to read.

The Ever Loving Truth - Voddie Baucham...Voddie rocks...the man can flat out preach...I would expect his book to do the same thing.

Louder Than Words - Andy Stanley...Bought this one a while back after reading another of Andy's books...should be a good read on integrity and 'walking the walk'.

There are some others that I'd love to be able to read, but let's face it...that's eight right there (okay, seven really because I already read one)...that's a lot for me. If I get through all of those, it'll be a miracle. Oh, I also have Dave Barry's Greatest Hits for bathroom reading...each "chapter" is like three pages long, so it's perfect...I'll refrain from updating you on how I'm progressing through that one.
